Working with the Illinois-based Ryan Companies, Darren Critchlow has served as a development associate since 2018. In the role, Darren Critchlow focuses on multifamily developments and senior housing across the state, such as the Clarendale senior living home.

His typical duties include doing demographic feasibility studies, selecting sites, and pursuing acquisitions, among others. In addition, Mr. Critchlow has developed his expertise in navigating several complex markets and processes, such as tax increment financing districts.

He also has experience with Voit Commercial Real Estate, where he was an associate. Responsible for analyzing market trends, Darren Critchlow focused on office and industrial properties. He also worked with potential tenants and landlords, educating them about the market.

He began the position after graduating from the University of San Diego, where he earned a bachelor of business administration in finance and real estate. While pursuing the degree, Mr. Critchlow completed a brokerage internship at Jones Lang LaSalle Commercial Real Estate and Colliers International.
