I have been the principal at Detroit Lakes High for the past five years. We have a great staff and we continue to focus on helping ALL students learn. We have implemented a freshman academy for our ninth grade students. They select a career pathway and then are organized into academies. Students take two semester classes each year to ensure they are college and career ready. They have opportunities to explore the many careers that are possible in their pathway.
