Offering production, financing, and distribution services, Das Films has released movies such as Chuck, The November Man, Into the Forest, Some Kind of Beautiful, and Heartbeats. Several of these have appeared at international film festivals such as the Zurich Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, and Imagine Film Festival, earning honors including Best Feature Film. Das Films continues to work with the industry's best directors, writers, and distribution firms in order to ensure the quality and success of each production.

The company owes its existence to Sriram Das, who holds a BA from Harvard University and an MBA from Yale University. He began his career in the financial industry, working with companies such as Merrill Lynch and founding his own equity advisory firm. Later, he transitioned to the entertainment industry, becoming an executive producer for Palm Star Entertainment. He served in this role for the film Premium, which he released just prior to founding Das Films in 2007.
