Based in Columbia, Missouri, David Forrest Atkins leads Alexander Forrest Investments, LLC, where his executive management team has re-developed various real estate projects in 26+ states. At Alexander Forrest investments, David Forrest Atkins provides strategic guidance in the sourcing and acquisition of assets. Guiding new residential and commercial construction, he is experienced in rehabilitating and renovating properties in ways that maximize value.

Mr. Atkins and his team ensure the company has a unified purpose and mission. When it comes to acquisitions, the AFI Team listens closely to clients' investment goals and undertakes property identification and financial analysis, as well as comprehensive site visits.

One of Mr. Atkins’ many successful projects was guiding AFI's takeover of operations of the 64-unit College Town Apartments near the University of Central Missouri in 2014. AFI’s efforts included extensive repair and property management and boosted income and occupancy rates within a matter of months.

Outside of work in real estate, he enjoys taking care of and maintaining a nut and fruit orchard. He is also knowledgeable in woodworking.
