An accomplished Florida executive with more than three decades of experience in the metals sector, David D'Addario has served as chairman and CEO of New Day Aluminum, LLC since 2016. Prior to his current position, he held similar leadership roles at other metals companies such as Wise Metals Group, NEROC, and TOMRA. Before entering the private sector, David D’Addario earned his undergraduate degree in 1984 from Yale University.

During his tenure at Wise Metals Group, David D’Addario guided the company through difficult times to an eventual turnaround. Today it is a leading producer of aluminum can stock for the beverage and food sectors, selling more than a billion pounds annually. He also helped Noranda Bauxite and Alumina (subsidiaries of New Day) negotiate a supply agreement with Century Aluminum that will see the companies exclusively provide high-grade materials for Century’s aluminum smelting operations in the Kentucky towns of Sebree and Hawesville.
