David H. Segal, MD, is a medical professional with over two decades of experience in the industry, in which he has held a variety of roles. David H. Segal, MD, first studied at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, graduating with a doctor of medicine in 1991. He also holds a bachelor of science in biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he graduated cum laude in 1987.
While studying for his doctor of medicine, Dr. Segal was given the Burroughs Welcome Award in Toxicology and Teratology, as well as the Sandoz Pharmaceutical Award for Excellence in Clinical Medicine. Dr. Segal has received a variety of awards during his medical career, including being named the Brain Injury Association of Iowa’s Contributor of the Year and Patient’s Choice’s Doctor of the Year in Iowa, both of which he was awarded in 2011.
Dr. Segal is also involved in a variety of medical organizations, such as the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
