David Nurenberg, PhD, is an active presence in the Boston-area education community who teaches English at Concord Carlisle High School and is an associate professor at Lesley University's Graduate School of Education. Experienced in curriculum design, Dr. Nurenberg worked in conjunction with faculty at MIT from 2015 to 2019 on a National Science Foundation Grant initiative, which included designing and delivering a Green Technologies class across four local high schools.

Dr. Nurenberg received a grant from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan for representing the United States at a 2013 global education conference, and his previous teacher exchange trips to Turkmenistan were covered by the Boston Globe in 2008 and 2010. Dr. Nurenberg's international activities include facilitating a collaboration between the Lesley University and Otaru University of Commerce in Hokkaido, Japan, and he has spearheaded a number of exchange delegations over the years. His community-related efforts included fundraising for victims of the 2011 Fukushima tsunami.

A thought leader in his field, Dr. Nurenberg presented at Yale University, Wesleyan University and elsewhere, and has been published in a wide range of journals.
