A graduate of Central Connecticut State University, Dean Galasso earned an undergraduate degree in business, and was a wrestling state champion. After graduating from the New Britain, Connecticut, school in 1989, he began working for Allstate Power Vac, a waste management and environmental hazard removal firm with operations throughout the Northeast and Midwest. Dean Galasso spent nearly 20 years with the company, eventually holding the position of president.

Since 2010, Dean Galasso has served as president of Miami Beach-based real estate investment firm Mannahatta Properties, which provides property management and real estate development and construction services. He manages a diverse portfolio that includes 10 properties. In his role as property manager, he oversees inspections and ensures properties adhere to all laws and regulations.

Apart from his work with Mannahatta, Mr. Galasso supports the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides resources and support for injured veterans as they transition to civilian life. He also enjoys spending his free time playing golf at some of Miami’s numerous courses.
