Dean Lee McKinney has spent close to 20 years in the hospitality industry, during which he has managed two hotels. With the latter of these, which also had a restaurant, Dean Lee McKinney was the owner and oversaw all key personnel.
Working closely with kitchen staff and front-of-house, he ensured that customer service was kept to a high standard. Alongside his daily duties, Mr. McKinney developed and implemented a marketing strategy and coordinated with external vendors. He was also responsible for collecting payments and maintaining finances.
For nine years, Mr. McKinney served as the assistant general manager of another Gold Beach-based hotel. In the role, he dealt with maintenance issues and collaborated with third-parties when planning events. He was also responsible for payroll and human resources.
Outside of hospitality, Mr. McKinney has almost a decade of real estate experience. As the manager of McKinney Properties, he resolved deferred maintenance and oversaw accounts. In running the firm, he also consistently improved revenues.
