A recognized leader in North American telecommunications, Debabrata Biswal possesses more than 26 years of experience in his field. He got his start in the industry after graduating with honors with a bachelor of science in computer science. From there, he spent nearly 14 years working at TATA Consultancy Services as a principal consultant. He later moved to Cognizant Technology Solutions, where he managed a number of Telecom, Media and High-tech accounts throughout US. He was leading the effort to grow the entire Canada Market segment during his tenure at Cognizant. He also handled the company’s profit and loss management and relationships with major partners throughout the United States, Canada and LatAM.

Currently, Debabrata Biswal is the vice president of telecommunications vertical for the Americas at HCL in Reston, Virginia. During his time with the company, he has secured a number of major contracts, including one worth nearly $200 million digital transformation work. In addition to his everyday work in the field, Mr. Biswal frequents conferences hosted by the Mobile World Conference, Tele Management Forum, and the National Association of Broadcasters etc.
