In his most recent position as vice president of strategic initiatives for Synchrony Financial, Delaena Kalevor led new product initiatives and oversaw multi-billion-dollar portfolios with the company’s Payment Solutions platform. With the company for 7 years, Delaena Kalevor also directed the launch of SetPay, an unsecured installment loan program.
Mr. Kalevor holds a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Ghana Business School and a master of business administration in finance and competitive strategy from the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester. He graduated from GE’s Experienced Commercial Leadership Program, a 2-year rotational program that invites students to approach complex business problems in GE Capital businesses, and he has completed two of three levels with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Earlier in his career, Delaena Kalevor held positions as a senior auditor with Ernst & Young in Accra, Ghana, and a business development associate with ChemNano Materials Ltd. in Akron, Ohio.
