Dennis Fountaine

Award-Winning Inventor

Rocket Science Labs

Nominated as one of the world's Top 100 Inventors, Dennis Fountaine has created a diverse catalog of innovative products and mobile applications throughout his nearly 40-year career. As the former owner of Rocket Science Labs (RSL), Dennis Fountaine is responsible for inventing the first wireless ear piece used in conjunction with cell phones, award-winning pet products, and a wearable video recording unit that is used by law enforcement professionals.

Dennis Fountaine's interest in inventing began through his passion for video recording and production. Upon earning a bachelor's in film and television production from Syracuse University in 1979, he founded a Seattle-based company that produced and directed music videos and was later asked by the United States Military to create a method for GIs to communicate more effectively with family members back home. Early on he created the fully automated Video Capsule, which spawned his passion for inventing.

In subsequent years, Mr. Fountaine founded RSL and began conceptualizing new products across a variety of sectors. Beyond technology-based inventions, he is responsible for creating Robbin's Egg ice cream desserts, The Thing In A Bag Cat Toy, and the Outrageous Fortune Kookie. Additionally, he is researching anti-aging theories and methods to develop an effective solution to the body's inevitable decline.
