With an extensive background in sports medicine and podiatric surgery, Deo Rampertab, DPM, has guided multidisciplinary physician teams and administrative staff in a variety of clinical settings. Having pioneered the ultrasound-guided UltraCryo approach, Dr. Deo Rampertab has focused on areas such as amputations, soft tissue procedures, and trauma and fracture repair.
During his more-than-15-year tenure with Arizona Family Podiatry, PC, Dr. Rampertab undertook non-surgical procedures such as biomechanical exams and strapping, as well as taping for strains, sprains, and other athletic injuries. Experienced in tendon transfers and repair, he also proficiently interprets CT scans, MRIs, and radiographs.
Having most recently functioned as the deputy director of the Seattle Regional Office of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Inspector General, Dr. Deo Rampertab coordinated a nationwide program. The focus was on patient care inspection and quality assurance at clinical locations operated by the Veterans Health Administration.
In 2017, Dr. Rampertab received the Under Secretary for Health Priority Award for Consistency in Best Practices. This reflected efficiency-boosting transformations in the Surgical Services Department, as well as successful efforts to increase employee morale and engagement.
