Doc Gallagher, known to his readers and listeners as "America's Money Doctor," graduated from Brown University with a PhD, taught at Texas Christian University as a professor of logic and ethics, and has authored five books and more than 30 articles. Today, Doc Gallagher serves the public as an independent investment educator. His areas of expertise include estate planning, tax preparation, investing, the preservation of wealth, and more.

A broadcaster who has appeared on national as well as local television and radio shows, Doc Gallagher hosts "Your Family Matters" on KAAM. The show gives him a forum where he can speak in-depth on financial topics that appeal to families and individuals with varying financial backgrounds. Recently, he created a CD entitled “Strategies for Excellence” in conjunction with Jack Canfield, author of Chicken Soup for the Soul.

Besides families, Doc Gallagher reaches out to employees of businesses such as AT&T, American Airlines, and the Hitachi Corporation and to groups of individuals through "Born to Win" seminars produced by Zig Ziglar. Doc Gallagher takes pride in developing events such as the Ms. Texas Senior Pageant, which is a fun attraction for participants and members of the community.
