Osmosis Beauty founder and chief executive officer Dr. Ben Johnson holds an MD from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. After securing his degree in 1994, he remained in Omaha to complete an internship with Creighton Family Practice. Osmosis Beauty CEO Dr. Ben Johnson subsequently relocated to Colorado, where he became a resident in physical therapy/rehabilitation medicine at Denver’s University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He went on to establish himself as a general practitioner with an emphasis in medical esthetics, establishing the Colorado skin care companies Cosmedix in 1995 and Osmosis Beauty in 2006.

Although he no longer serves as the head of Golden-based skin care company Cosmedix, Dr. Johnson continues to lead operations at Osmosis Beauty in Evergreen, Colorado. Driven by the belief that healthy skin is “the best makeup,” he has helped establish a full line of skin care products that promise to protect and restore skin while simultaneously accenting it with non-toxic, natural pigments.
