A respected Massachusetts oral and maxillofacial surgeon (OMFS), Dr. George Hatzigiannis most recently treated underserved community members spanning Worcester, Manchester, Lawrence, and Brockton. Well established in his field, Dr. George Hatzigiannis has presented on aspects of dentistry such as peri-implant bone grafting and cone beam technology applications. He has also authored a number of papers in his field.

Dr. Hatzigiannis holds a bachelor’s degree in biology earned cum laude at Harvard College and pursued dentistry qualifications at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He subsequently undertook an OMFS residency at the UConn Health Center in Farmington and received his two-year certificate in general surgery from the same institution. He has maintained a strong commitment to continuing education over the years, with courses spanning topics such as cardiac patient care and orthognathic surgery.

Dr. George Hatzigiannis’ community activities extend to a past position as the Massachusetts Dental Society’s North Shore Representative on the Council on Access, Prevention, and Interpersonal Relations.
