Dr. Gregory (Greg) Nanney is a well established presence in the KS medical community and engages with Newton Medical Center in leadership capacities. KS physician Dr. Greg Nanney pursued undergraduate studies at East Central University and completed his doctor of medicine at the University of Oklahoma. He undertook his internal medicine residency and fellowship work in oncology and hematology through the same institution.
Following the completion of his medical education, Dr. Nanney engaged as part of a team responsible for creating a program at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, Stephen Ministry. Until 2010, he served as a Stephen Minister and Stephen Leader after completing Stephen Leader Training in St. Louis in 1999. He participated in the ongoing supervision and training of new ministers at Emanuel.
Dr. Gregory Nanney maintains medical licenses in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri and is active with the Medical Society of Sedgwick County. Respected in his field, he has presented before the Oklahoma Society of Internal Medicine on “The Renin Angiotensin Aldosterone Axis in Sickle Cell Anemia.” He has also helped organize and direct a free community Thanksgiving dinners in his local area.
