An experienced anesthesiologist, Dr. Khaled Amr earned mention for his work as America's Top Pediatric Anesthesiology for 2007 from the Consumers' Research Council of America. In recent years, he has expanded his practice to focus on treating patients with addictions, including to opioids. Most recently, Dr. Khaled Amr has served as the medical director of Columbus Medical Center.
Previously, he carried out responsibilities as medical director of New Albany Pain Clinic, as a pediatric anesthesiologist at West Virginia University Hospital, and as clinical assistant professor of anesthesiology at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Prior to caring for patients in the United States, he practiced as an anesthesiologist in the Middle East.
Dr. Khaled Amr holds board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology and a doctor of medicine from Wayne State University. Active in his field, he maintains membership in a number of professional organizations, including those representing doctors in the fields of anesthesiology and pain management.
