A physician with a focus on clinical pathology and forensics, Dr. Kris Sperry holds a magna cum laude bachelor of science in biology from Pittsburg State University and a doctor of medicine from the University of Kansas. While attending medical school, he received an Arnold W. Matera Award for his accomplishments in the field of radiologic diagnosis. Dr. Kris Sperry subsequently completed both a residency in anatomic/clinical pathology and a fellowship in forensic pathology at the University of New Mexico.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Kris Sperry has served tenures as a medical examiner/investigator with a number of county and state governmental entities. He has also completed academic appointments with multiple institutions of higher learning.
Dr. Sperry became chief medical examiner for the state of Georgia in 1997 and served with distinction until retiring from public service in 2015. Since that time, he has concentrated his professional efforts on his private consultancy, which he operates out of offices in Peachtree City, Georgia.
