With a strong interest in upholding quality and safety in the health care field, Dr. Lamont Tyler serves as the medical director of Eastern Region Specialty Physician Services for OSF Medical Group, a leader in the Pioneer ACO Model and population health. Concurrent with his responsibilities in this role, Dr. Lamont Tyler is working toward an MS in health care quality and safety management at the Jefferson College of Population Health. He is also completing an MS in health care management through the MS/MBA program jointly operated by the University of Texas at Dallas and UT Southwestern.
Dr. Tyler holds a BS in biology from Loyola University of Chicago, where his undergraduate performance earned him a place on the dean’s list and membership in two honor societies. He subsequently obtained his DO from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an internship and residency at Chicago’s Cook County Hospital.
Aside from his professional and academic duties, Dr. Lamont Tyler supports organizations including the American Red Cross, United Way, and the American Diabetes Association.
