For more than 15 years, Dr. Laurie Cuttino has been a radiation oncologist with Virginia Commonwealth University as well as an associate professor of radiation oncology. As an oncologist, she handles all types of malignancies through her work at Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, and also has training in brachytherapy. Dr. Laurie Cuttino's research focuses on accelerated partial breast irradiation, and she has a particular interest in TrueBeam radiosurgery as well.
Dr. Cuttino has received extensive recognition for her work as an oncologist. Richmond Magazine has named her one of the top doctors in Richmond every year since 2008, and she has been named one of the Best Doctors in America every year since 2010. U.S. News and World Report has given her similar recognition through its Best Doctors list every year since 2011.
Dr. Cuttino also works with many professional organizations on oncology studies. She has been involved with many institutional and national trials and research groups, including the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group and the Radiation Oncology Committee of the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology.
