An accomplished professional musician as well as a veterinarian, Florida native Dr. Linda Jack began a career as a music teacher in 1983. She taught 750 students in kindergarten through sixth grade within the Stamford Catholic School System in Connecticut, where she also accompanied and directed music productions. Dr. Linda Jack then moved on to serve as Christian education coordinator for a Presbyterian church in Harrison, New York, where she developed curriculum and trained new teachers while remaining active in music as a performer and composer.
Dr. Linda Jack remained involved in music as a composer, performer, and instructor as she transitioned into a career as a writer. She freelanced in the Boston area for eight years, during which time she focused on creating effective public relations materials. Then, after relocating to Tennessee and serving as a veterinary technician at a small animal clinic and as a volunteer at the Nashville Zoo, she made the choice to enter veterinary school.
Dr. Linda Jack went on to earn her doctor of veterinary medicine from the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she distinguished herself as a recipient of the Research Forum Award. Subsequently hired at Adams Farm Animal Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina, she now serves as a relief veterinarian at more than 50 clinics across Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida.
