As a Mohs and reconstructive surgeon at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in Tampa, Florida, Dr. Stephen Romagnolo builds on diverse clinical training and experience. He competed his Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery fellowship training at the Dermatologic Surgicenter in Philadelphia, with part of his training at Johns Hopkins. Stephen Romagnolo, MD, accepted the fellowship after completing his general dermatology residency at MCP Hahnemann University Hospitals, distinguished as chief resident during 2002.

During his residency, Dr. Stephen Romagnolo contributed to drug development research as well as investigations into inter-reader reliability in sezary cell counts. He made presentations before meetings of both the MCP Hahnemann University Department of Medicine and the Philadelphia Dermatological Society, and he remains an in-demand presenter for both public and professional audiences. Also an experienced mentor, he has provided guidance to those pursuing careers in dermatology since 2009.

Dr. Stephen Romagnolo coauthored a chapter on wound dressings for the second edition of the the textbook Mohs Micrographic Surgery, published by the University of Wisconsin Press in 2004. In addition, Dr. Romagnolo is the author and coauthor of several peer-reviewed articles, his work has appeared in such journals as SKINmed: Dermatology for the Clinician and Topics in Advanced Medical Science.
