A solo practitioner who operates his own specialty practice in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Terry Isom completed clinical training in endodontics at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry (OHSU). He also holds a Moderate Conscious Sedation permit in the state of Oregon. Drawing upon his significant academic and professional experience, Dr. Terry Isom has done his part to educate the next generation of dental professionals as an associate professor in the OHSU Department of Endodontology.

Before establishing his practice in 2009, Terry Isom, DMD, operated another private endodontic practice that maintained two offices in the greater Portland area. From 1991 to 1997, Dr. Isom treated endodontic patients with the Willamette Dental Group, ultimately becoming head of the endodontic department.

Over the years, Dr. Isom has also participated in multiple humanitarian dental initiatives, including the treatment of underserved populations and training missions for other dental professionals.
