Dr Adrian Cohen, MB, BS is an emergency medicine and trauma expert as well as the innovator of several medical concepts such as Nurocheck, Headsafe and Necksafe.
Dr Adrian Cohen attended university at the University of New South Wales, where he received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with First Class Honours. Dr Cohen also gained experience at several teaching hospitals during his time in university such as The Prince of Wales Hospital, the Prince Henry Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Women.
Dr Adrian Cohen has a passion for medicine in the pre-hospital environment, specifically the prevention of head and neck-related injuries. Dr Cohen's love of Rugby and other sports has made him fully aware of the dangers of certain activities, which is what brought him to his interest in head and neck-related injuries.
This has led Dr Adrian Cohen to his latest endeavor, Nurochek. Nurochek is a portable device that is used to measure the brain's normal electrical activity using EEG signals, and can be used to detect brain injuries such as concussion and illness such as dementia and stroke as well as other neurological conditions.
