The United Leadership Forum (ULF) offers research and development support to international humanitarian clusters, in-country organisations and operational humanitarian leaders across 41 conflict-affected countries. The ULF consist of a specialised unit of academics, facilitators and practitioners working in the fields of human development, leadership training, conflict management, peace keeping and education. The scale and cadence of crises that demand international humanitarian response are on the rise and pose increasingly hostile and complex challenges to operational humanitarian leaders. In response, the ULF utilises a “human or people-centered approach” to an integrated leadership development model which include conflict management and resolution, cultural awareness, religious tolerance, human rights education, values alignment, emotional intelligence, personal development and mediation strategies.
