The quest of Drew Ross to make the perfect bagel began innocuously in 2013 when his father-in-law was visiting him in his Sonoma County home. After realizing that they couldn’t get a good New York-style bagel in the area, Andrew (Drew) Ross joined his father-in-law in the kitchen to make his very first batch of bagels.

Although this initial attempt fell short of perfection, it sparked an obsession with bagel-making that persists to this day. After refining his recipe and sharing the results with family members and friends for years, Drew Ross went professional with his hobby in 2018 by establishing Healdsburg Bagel Company in Healdsburg, California.

Today, Mr. Ross’ company offers 17 types of bagels as well as other food products that include bagel dogs and cream cheese schmears. Healdsburg Bagel Company sells made-to-order bagels, distributing orders of a dozen bagels or more by delivery or pick-up throughout Sonoma County.
