Drawing upon nearly 15 years of medical experience, Dr. John Vassallo manages a Howell, Michigan-based office where he treats patients for chronic and acute illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension. In addition to caring for patients at his office, Dr. John Vassallo is the medical director at three rehabilitation facilities and also routinely treats patients at nursing homes.
A member of the Society for Post Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine, Dr. Vassallo previously worked as a hospitalist with Internal Medicine Associates and Cherry Hill Internal Medicine. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, and earned his doctor of medicine from Ross University. Dr. Vassallo also holds a master of science from Wayne State University and a bachelor of arts from Curry College. He is a member of the Michigan State Medical Society and has spoken at its House of Delegates Annual Meeting.
