An undergraduate at the University of Florida, Duke Bronson studies agriculture business management in Gainesville. He previously studied for four years at The First Academy in Orlando, FL. Excelling on The First Academy varsity soccer and lacrosse teams, Duke Bronson achieved academic recognition as an AP scholar.
Mr. Bronson has a longstanding Osceola County family background, with his great grandfather Irlo Overstreet Bronson, Sr., the cattle rancher who sold Walt Disney the tract from which he developed the Magic Kingdom. Also serving in the Florida State Legislature, he held terms as senator and congressman.
Mr. Bronson’s past experience includes working as a junior staffer at Camp Ridgecrest for Boys in Asheville, North Carolina, and he achieved Little Chief rank while assisting campers and fulfilling kitchen detail. He also herded cattle as a cowboy on the Bronson Cattle Farm in the summer of 2018. An outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys activities such as hunting quail and deer, flats fishing, and spearfishing in his free time.
