Founded by humanitarian Earl Wescom, Effe Group of Companies, LLC, and its sister company Group, Effe, Inc., furnish humanitarian solutions for a better future. Effe Group of Companies operates in multiple countries, including the US, Canada, the Cayman Islands, and Guinea-Bissau. Among its latest news, the company announced plans to establish a series of hydroponic and fish farms in the Ivory Coast, or Cote d'Ivoire, in West Africa.
Working in coordination with the Ambassador Tivoli, who serves as the official ambassador for the development of West Africa, the companies aim to provide the Ivory Coast with jobs, revenue, and income. Additionally, the farms will allow underserved citizens of the country, who are in need of more nutritional food sources, to staff the primary local source for fish and vegetables.
Effe Group of Companies and its affiliates will work to establish farms across the country, and with an estimated total investment of $350 million, the companies plan to purchase and install the required technology and equipment to run the farms as well as train 99.9 percent of the local population to perform all of their necessary operations. The initiative will not require any funding on behalf of the government of the Ivory Coast.
