A graduate of Boston College, Elizabeth Kaleva also holds a juris doctor from the University of Montana. Upon graduating, she took on the role of general counsel and director of policy services with the Montana School Boards Association in Helena. In this position, Elizabeth Kaleva advised Montana school districts on labor and employment, employee discipline and termination, student rights and responsibilities, and special education matters.

Ms. Kaleva has since started her own law practice in Missoula, Montana, where she provides counsel to government entities, school districts, and private companies in the area of labor relations. She also provides litigation defense in state courts and administrative agencies for matters related to school board conduct and employment.

Active in her professional community, Elizabeth Kaleva sits on the board of directors of the National Council of School Attorneys and serves as president of the Montana Council of School Attorneys. In recognition of her work, she has consistently been chosen as a Best Lawyer both in America and in Montana in the areas of education and employment law.
