Elizabeth “Libby” Keatinge Scheideler is a career journalist, Certified Personal Finance Counselor, and the founder of FundsSavvy.com. Elizabeth Keatinge founded the website that provides financial planning advice with a focus on empowering women who are insecure about their financial health.

As a reporter for NY1 in New York, she was responsible for neighborhood updates in the Queens and Staten Island areas. She researched and produced hourly local edition shows as well as up to two daily stories for the station and supervised other reporters. Additionally, she promoted the station through community volunteer projects with area nonprofits.

She is also involved in numerous philanthropic endeavors that are important to her personally. She has hosted charity galas and fundraisers for organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She coordinated a trip to Puerto Rico to support families impacted by Hurricane Maria, as well as a trip to Cambodia to work with human trafficking victims. She promotes literacy by reading to children in underprivileged school districts through Change For Kids.
