A resident of Bonita Springs, Florida, Ellen Polite has served as a digital marketing and graphic design intern with local caterer Artichoke and Company since 2017. Ellen Polite has undertaken this internship while pursuing her undergraduate marketing degree at Florida Gulf Coast University in nearby Fort Myers.

Her work with Artichoke and Company includes promotional graphic design and website development as well as handling companywide schedules for events and employees. To assist in these and other duties, she became proficient in the use of industry software and platforms such as Wix and AWeber.

In 2018 in Barcelona, Spain, Ms. Polite completed a marketing internship with Neventum, a platform that enables fair and event exhibitors to find providers of key products and services. In this internship, she developed informational portfolios for vendors and collaborated with the IT department to design the company’s US website.

When she isn’t working, Ms. Polite enjoys reading and paddleboarding. She has also volunteered with multiple charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society and Habitat for Humanity.
