Feng Qin, MD, of New York City serves as attending vascular surgeon at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in Manhattan and St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, drawing on more than a decade of experience performing vascular procedures in hospital settings. Feng Qin, MD, previously treated patients in a similar position at Manhattan’s Lenox Hill Hospital. Earlier in his career, he conducted vascular operations at Shanghai Second Medical University (now Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine).
Before becoming a vascular surgeon, Dr. Qin graduated with an MD from the Medical Center of Fudan University (now Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University). He subsequently underwent postgraduate training at the former Shanghai Second Medical University, where he fulfilled the obligations of a fellowship in vascular surgery and a residency in general surgery.
After relocating to the United States, Feng Qin, MD, resumed his postgraduate training as a general surgery resident at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in Manhattan. He went on to complete his residency at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine before returning to New York. There, he satisfied the requirements of a fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at the North-Long Island Jewish Health System.
