An accomplished clinical pharmacist and business leader, Folake Bridget Idowu holds a bachelor of pharmacy from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ife, Nigeria, and a certificate in business administration from Durham University in Durham, North East England. She also passed B Pharm (UK qualification) exams through the University of Sunderland and earned a pharmacy clinical diploma from the University of London. Early in her career, Folake Bridget Idowu held pharmacist positions with Boots, Logan’s Pharmacy, and William Harvey Hospital.

Ms. Idowu founded Grand Healthcare UK in 2006 with a retail pharmacy outlet in Eastbourne. Over the years, she grew the business to establish several other retail locations alongside managerial and superintendent roles. She became a clinical pharmacist with a managerial role with the East Kent NHS Hospital Trust in 2018. This position placed her in charge of functions that ranged from Medicine optimisation for patients and project management to annual budgeting and fiscal planning.
