Currently, food waste in Mexico is more than 20 million tons, that is a large amount of food that goes away every day, every week of the year.
Obviously, if this food is not wasted, there would be a favorable effect, not only on the environment, because fewer emissions of carbon dioxide would be emitted into the atmosphere, but also because the price of food would be more affordable for everyone and that would allow to reduce the food poverty that exists in our country.
