Fuad El-Hibri draws upon more than 30 years of executive leadership experience across multiple business sectors in his role as executive chairman of the board of directors for global biopharmaceutical company Emergent BioSolutions (EBS), which employs 800 people throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. Prior to his current role with the company, Fuad El-Hibri served as chairman and CEO from 1998 to 2012, during which time he oversaw the development of vaccine and multi-product facilities in Lansing, Michigan, and Baltimore, Maryland, and acquired multiple companies to expand EBS' biosciences and biodefense portfolios. He also led the company's initial public offering in 2006, raising $58 million.

In addition to his executive role with EBS, Fuad El-Hibri has served as chairman of East West Resources Corporation since 1990, where he has been engaged in the creation of cellular networks in Venezuela and El Salvador. Throughout his career, he also held executive positions with United Kingdom-based Speywood Holdings, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Citicorp, where he facilitated a first-of-its-kind merger between large beverage companies in Canada and the United States. Mr. El-Hibri holds a master’s degree in public and private management from Yale University and has won multiple awards for his professional achievements, including the Executive of the Year from the Tech Council of Maryland and the Dar Al-Aytam, Shining Stars Award.
