An accomplished hotel executive, Geoffrey Palermo has spent most of his career working in the hospitality industry. The founder of GMP Management, Inc., he and his team acquired, repositioned, and rebranded hotels in San Francisco. Geoffrey Palermo’s role involved improving the operations and cash flow of these hotels to significantly increase their revenue.
During his work in the hospitality sector, Mr. Palermo spent much of his free time restoring all types of automobiles, including American muscle cars and European cars from the 1960s and 70s. In 2016 he decided to turn this passion into a business venture with the founding of GMP Cars, a premier exotic car restoration and repair company based in Novato that also has body shop locations in San Francisco, Santa Rosa, Fremont, and four other California cities. Together, these locations offer a full range of in-house restoration, electronics, and collision services.
Beyond leading GMP Cars, Geoffrey Palermo enjoys racing cars. He has participated in more than 30 Daytona races driving a Ferrari 488 Challenge. Of those races, he has had more than two dozen top 10 finishes, including the North America Coppa Shell race in 2017 and 2018, finishing seventh and sixth, respectively.
