A successful executive with experience in the insurance and education sectors, Greg Salsbury has spent the past five years as president of Western Colorado University. During his time there, he has been at the helm of several major improvements at the school. Specifically, Greg Salsbury was able to secure $80 million in funding to develop the university’s first ever School of Computer Science and Engineering, a venture rooted in partnership with the University of Colorado Boulder. He has also presided over significant improvements in the university’s retention, graduation rates, and diversity numbers during his tenure.
In addition to his administrative roles, he also has vast experience as an educator in the post-secondary environment. Throughout his career, he has taught various courses in both communications and business at schools such as the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the University of California, Los Angeles, California State University, Fullerton, and the University of Southern California.
