Practicing in Kihei, Maui, Gregory F. Caffiero, OTR/L, serves client needs as a certified hand therapist. His core focus is on knowledgeable rehabilitative care that helps hand functions move toward full mobility and strength. Having been lead therapist and Hawaii regional manager with Health Quest Therapy, Inc., since 2016, Gregory F. Caffiero is presently reverting the office back to its original name, Maui Hand Therapy.
Geogry Caffiero completed his occupational therapy degree at Elizabethtown College in the early 2000s, and gained early experience with the Clove Lakes Rehabilitation Center in Staten Island, New York. His first position in Hawaii was with the Maui Memorial Medical Center in 2008, and he subsequently completed a hand therapy fellowship with the Hospital for Special Surgery.
Dr. Geogry Caffiero maintains certification for a wide range of modalities, from laser treatment to VitalStim neuromuscular electrical stimulation for dysphagia. Recognized for his in-depth knowledge in his field, he has taught the continuing education course Smart Design: The Art of Splinting. In his free time, Gregory F. Caffiero enjoys coastal activities such as free diving, surfing, and spearfishing.
