Guarn A. Sims is an accomplished school principal who has headed a number of academic institutions and served students from kindergarten through high school. Since April 2019, he has overseen the Bright Futures Academy in Boynton Beach, Florida. Guarn A. Sims’ leadership of this inclusive charter school benefits from his nearly two decades of work as a principal or assistant principal.

Mr. Sims also has significant experience in the field of adult education. As a certified life skills coach, he has helped those from economically disadvantaged communities through Circles USA/Pathways to Prosperity since 2016. His specific areas of instruction with Circles USA/Pathways to Prosperity range from managing personal finances to maintaining positive relationships.

In addition to his work as an educator and educational administrator, Guarn Sims owns and operates the Boynton Beach catering company Smoker 61 BBQ. In addition to spearheading Smoker 61 BBQ's business activities, he serves as its grill master.
