Hallandale Beach CRA (HBCRA) - A Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is a significant tool for municipalities to commit resources to reduce and eliminate the conditions of slum and blight, stimulate the community and encourage economic revitalization. A community redevelopment area is a geographic area in which the physical and economic conditions meet the definition of slum or blight according to the Florida Statute Chapter 163.
The purpose for establishing the City of Hallandale Beach CRA (HBCRA) and the Redevelopment Trust Fund was to serve as a partner to the City.
