I graduated from University of San Diego with a dual degree in Legal Studies and Political Science. I later earned my J.D as well as my M.A in Economics at Berkeley Law.
After practicing law for a few years I realized I wanted to put my time and energy into the formation of law itslef, and use legislation as a way to advocate for the more moderate voter. A huge problem in today's society resonates with the lack of moderation. It is all or nothing. I decided to take a break from practicing law and ran for State Senator. During my time as Senator I was able to maintain my conservative views in regards to business regulations, tax cuts, the second amendment, and defense spending, but have also aimed to advocate for women's rights, as well as the LGBTQ community.
After Serving in that position for 3 years, I am now running to become the next House member for California's 50th district. Growing up in San Diego allows me to understand the needs of the community on a personal level. I hope to be the voice of the individual rather than the voice of the party. I want to extend my political views to help represent a population that is unrepresented.
