A legal recruiter at BCG Attorney Search, Harrison Barnes laid the foundation for his career by earning a bachelor’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago. Harrison Barnes went on to attain a juris doctor from the University of Virginia. An active graduate student, he served as the managing editor of the Journal of Law and Politics and the editor of the Virginia Law Journal.
Following graduation, he worked as a clerk for US District Judge Robert H. Cleland. He later took a position as a litigation associate at the Quinn Emanuel Urquart Oliver & Sullivan and Dewey Ballantine law firms.
With a commitment to increasing ethical standards in the legal recruiting profession, he founded BCG Attorney Search in 1999. To create the recruitment firm’s code of conduct, he drew upon his experience teaching professional responsibility at the Whittier Law School, as well as his own experience seeking attorney placement services from multiple legal recruiting firms. Today, he leads a team of recruiters who work to develop in-depth knowledge of law firms. Additionally, he seeks to provide candidates with job placements that will enhance both their personal and private endeavors.
