With a New York background in teaching and counseling, Hope Winters is a career and public speaking coach who works with clients to identify their specific interests and strengths. Emphasizing “7 stories” techniques of memory generation, Hope Winters also employs cognitive and dialectic behavioral paradigms to ease anxiety and motivate clients to attain career goals.
Ms. Winters earned her BS at the Rutgers College of Pharmacy and completed a master of education in mental health counseling at Fordham University. She also holds an MBA from the Columbia Business School, with a focus on marketing and finance. Her experience includes positions as adjunct professor of finance at both Fairleigh Dickinson University and Ramapo College.
From 2017 to 2018, Ms. Winters was a College Access for all Middle Schools instructor with newyorkedge.com, where she worked with 7th grade students in a workshop setting that encouraged them to explore future education choices. Hope Winters presently instructs the FYS first year seminar at Baruch College, City University of New York. In this role, she instructs students in the areas of financial literacy, time management, mindfulness, and stress reduction.
