What is Restylane treatment
What is Restylane
Restylane is a filler that consists of water and hyaluronic acid. It comes in many different types, depending on what one wants to achieve with the treatment. It is in gel form and is injected into the skin in small amounts so that lost volume is restored.
What can be treated with Restylane?
Restylane has several different products, which gives us opportunities to customize the treatment individually, regardless of age and indication. Our Restylane specialist can offer:
Lip augmentation/shaping and definition of lips
Treatment for Tear through / deep tear folds / deep under the eyes
Highlight facial contours such as cheeks/chin/jawline
Nose correction
Smoothing of scars
Boost / moisturize the skin from within with Restylane Skinbooster.
Rejuvenation of hands, décolletage / neck
Nasolabial furs
Puppet lines/mouth corners
Restylane treatment gives immediate and long-lasting results. A treatment with Restylane lasts typically for 6–12 months, and with one maintenance treatment, the effect can last for up to 18 months or longer.
Training of Restylane therapists
Galderma has its own, thorough authorization program to train Restylane therapists. This is entirely unique and your security. The therapist must always carry a valid ID card. Then you are confident that the therapist is educated with a medical background.
The authorization means that the therapist has extensive training, is up to date on the latest techniques, and has the supplier Galderma's full support. The authorization certificate is updated every year with an overview of the therapist's competence level and is thus your guarantee of trust and security.
At the Skin and Laser Clinic in Ørsta, we, of course, have these ID cards on their therapist who is a specialist in this type of treatment
