In positions such as regional director of operations with Chipotle Mexican Grill over the past six years, Ian Shehaiber oversaw more than 60 retail locations across New York City and Long Island. Responsible for eight district managers, Ian Shehaiber also guided support departments spanning recruiting, marketing, HR, training, and facilities management.
Consistently elevating the Chipotle brand, Mr. Shehaiber was successful in implementing systems of core competency development and accountability. Working to create a positive, productive employee culture, he brought renewed focus to revenue growth and emphasized the guest experience. His efforts turned around an underperforming district and improved elements of operation such as line efficiency and customer wait times. He was recognized as Top Regional Director when it came to manager bench development nationwide.
Mr. Shehaiber holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Florida in aerospace engineering. A fitness enthusiast, he believes strongly in the connection between physical and mental health and lives by the dictum “a sound body equals a sound mind.” Also passionate about the outdoors, Ian Shehaiber enjoys camping and exploring scenic destinations in his free time.
