A licensed real estate salesperson in both Washington and Oregon and a five-time CoStar Power Broker, Ira Virden serves as managing partner of HFF's Portland office, where he has facilitated over $3 billion in institutional investment sale, recapitalization, and joint-venture equity transactions for multi-housing properties. Since joining HFF in 2012, Ira Virden has completed high-profile representative assignments, including a $243 million investment sale of Seattle's Premiere on the Pine and a $118 million investment sale of Eddyline Bridgeport in Portland. His clients include Kennedy Wilson, Lubert Adler, Mill Creek Residential Trust, and Guardian Real Estate Services, among others.

Prior to joining HFF, Ira Virden was a senior associate with Apartment Realty Advisors and helped launch the firm's office in Portland. He also served as a senior associate and associate director of the Marcus and Millichap National Multi-Housing Group. Mr. Virden holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Oregon and is a member of the Urban Land Institute's Young Leader Program.
