An experienced musical director, Jamar Esaw got his professional start as an assistant minister of music at the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His responsibilities included managing 75 music department staff members to produce music for church services and overseeing all music department business operations. While employed by New Salem Missionary, Jamar Esaw earned a bachelor of science in business management at Minneapolis’ Augsburg College. After graduating, he served tenures as a senior financial loan processer with General Electric and both a youth counselor and a Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI) case manager with Model Cities.
However, Jamar Esaw never gave up on his musical career, founding the gospel group Triad 4 Christ and heading the music department at Eastern Star Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. As director of Triad 4 Christ, Mr. Esaw has led the group to multiple awards and performances at major national music festivals.
