The founder of the Dallas-based cloud storage technology company Nebulr, James Ambrose Meyer helps people save and protect files using a unique process that divides them into 4096-byte chunks and encrypts each chunk individually. James Ambrose Meyer created the original Nebulr prototype using NodeJS before transitioning to Golang with a front-end ReactJS interface for commercial production.

Before devoting his full professional attention to Nebulr, he served both as a senior mobile-app developer and chief architect with the software company SevenTablets, which provides a range of technology solutions through its flagship STAX framework and its proprietary IoT platform. His responsibilities with SevenTablets extended beyond technical work to encompass team management and sales efforts.

Outside of the professional arena, Mr. Meyer serves as a volunteer at Catholic Charities, where he helps run an Irving-based men’s group that engages in a variety of charitable endeavors. He also enjoys experimenting with robotics, writing code, reading, skiing, and staying fit by running and lifting weights.
